Do I have to use all the modules in BusinessMaster to get the most benefit? No, and that's the beauty of BusinessMaster. All the modules can be used or just some of them. You use the modules that best fit your company's needs. And, the best part, if you find you want to have a module that you didn't originally purchase, contact Master Solutions and will send you the unlock code for that particular module. You'll be running that module the same day. top
What is the key difference between BusinessMaster and other products such as ShopPak, MOSS, TrakWare Most of these other products started as either estimating, accounting or design software. They are not specifically designed for the custom manufacturer and therefore can not be customized for your particular manufacturing needs. You have to use that software's particular standards to run your business. top
With BusinessMaster, we give you the "best of breed" software. You use the estimating methods and design packages that fit your business. We can take that data, bring it into ProjectSuite, and make it work for your particular manuafacturing needs. We designed ProjectSuite to automate the administrative issues for manufacturing with an emphasis on custom manufacturing. We focus on those issues and "hand-off" the data to other products specifically geared for those processes (such as accounting, payroll, or job costing products). This allows for a greater level of flexibility and performance.
How long will it take me to learn the BusinessMaster? Obviously, no single answer is right. Along with the installation of BusinessMaster we provide help with business development and process development to help you get the most out of the program. top
Training for each business is different but there are three main factors that affect the time it takes to learn ProjectSuite:
- Hardware: Do you have an existing network if you want to be multi-user? Are the users already computer literate? Are you familiar with data entry applications? These issues can be solved quickly with appropriate consulting which we can provide as the first steps in the installation.
- Business Process: What processes are already in place in your operation? Are you starting from scratch, or do you already have some experience controlling typical business operations? Do the people who purchase goods understand the process and goals of purchasing, inventory, job detailing and job costing? Again, these processes can be solved with proper training. Often times we see that the installation of our product brings a structure and discipline that was not existing previously. As we train how to use the program, it brings instruction to these processes automatically.
- Business Goals: Do you want to get complete Job Costing? Do you want process improvement? Do you just need access to data in a central place? Are you just looking to improve your efficiency in the office? Are you looking to eliminate overhead or get more volume out the door with the way you currently work? As we work with you to bring the solution to your operation, we phase in key modules so the impact is leveraged. The result is a more effective and less expensive process.
