Compatibility

Compatibility with your computer is not a problem when using BusinessMaster products. You probably already have what it takes to use our software. And, in some cases, we can provide you with what you need to get you started.

System Requirements
Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP, XP Pro
64 Mb Ram
20 MB Hard Disk Space
15" Monitor (17" recommended)
Microsoft Access 2000 or later

All products are licensed for one Local Area Network (LAN) and allows unlimited users.

Don't have Microsoft Access?
Master Solutions, LLC can provide you with a "Run-Time" version of Microsoft Access, allowing you to run the full BusinessMaster Program with some basic restrictions.*

If you own the Small Business Edition (SBE) of Microsoft Office 2000 or later, then you will not need Microsoft Access to run our programs.

*Description of "Run-Time" version of Access:

Microsoft allows for the distribution of a "Run-Time" version of Access to software developers who pay Microsoft a fee by purchasing the Developer Edition of Microsoft Office. This allows users to use all the programmed functions in an application without actually owning Access or Microsoft Office Professional (usually a $300 difference in cost per copy). All versions of Microsoft Office Small Business Edition 2000 and XP, come with this special version of Access. It usually is not installed at the initial time of Windows set-up. If you have SBE, you can install the option yourself and use BusinessMaster with the following limitations:

  1. You cannot design or alter databases.
  2. You cannot manipulate data outside of the forms and menus provided
  3. You will not be able to create custom searches outside those provided in BusinessMaster. This is a very important feature as most users of BusinessMaster like to be able to create custom "filters" on any given form to display on certain data. As you database grows, you will need to filter data when looking to edit data.
