clip0345 This button with the binoculars is the Find button. When pressed, this button will bring up the Find dialog box. This is where you can search for any record in the form by entering some related criteria or information. The search criteria applies only to the field the cursor is in when you press the Find button. You can also press Ctrl-F to activate the Find dialog box. Following is the Find dialog box:

Find

Find What
- Click inside the field you want to search in. Type what you are looking for. Use wildcards before and /or after the alpha-numeric search phrase or word to include possibilities that have data before and after the phrase or word.
Look in
- Displays what field is being searched.
Match
- Displays what is being Matched, the Whole field, and Part of the Field, or the Beginning of the Field.
Search -
Search all records, up and down, or search the records up or down only.
Match Case -
Match case for more specific searching.
Search Fields As Formatted
Find Next
- Searches for the next instance.

Replace All
