Company History/Bio

Master Solutions, LLC. is a software developer that provides software solutions to aid manufacturing operations in processing orders, purchasing materials, scheduling production, collecting labor data, job costing, and accounting practices. BusinessMaster, Master Solution's module-based product line, can be used in a variety of manufacturing fields from standard production based manufacturing to fully custom Job Shop operations.

Master Solutions, LLC. started in 1998 as a result of a collaboration of Sean Henry Office Solutions and John Johnson, owner of His Life Woodworks. After taking a database designed for the custom manufacturing process and standardizing it for other companies (a result of years of custom database development), Master Solutions, LLC. marketed BusinessMaster to other operations. Beginning with the first release of the QuickBooks SDK in Nov 2001, Master Solutions, LLC. was one of the first manufacturing programs to link to QuickBooks.

“In the manufacturing field, it’s hard to manage all tasks of a business. Administration is a major key to a successful business, but it usually requires either more office staff or manufacturing people to accomplish it,” said Sean Henry, senior developer and founder of Master Solutions, LLC. “BusinessMaster provides the resources needed to manage, maintain, and improve manufacturing operations without adding more personnel or overhead costs, therefore impacting the company’s overall profitability.”

BusinessMaster helps businesses become more effecient and more profitable. BusinessMaster is designed to streamline the operations management of small- to medium-sized businesses and enables the manufacturer to eliminate duplicate data entry, standardize and centralize data, and make data more accesssible. The Standard module provides the foundation for the system and is designed to meet the typical needs of manufacturers. It effectively and intuitively manages the data for Sales Orders, Customers and Vendors, and Items for Purchase and Sale, allowing access to data without logging into different software programs for different types of information. Further, BusinessMaster allows for the manufacturer to enhance the program’s functionality by employing different modules that can be bought based on that manufacturers needs.

BusinessMaster’s module choices include a Purchasing Module that allows users to effectively manage purchasing orders and inventory by linking purchase order line items to stock or directly to sales orders. The Scheduling Module manages and reports on production scheduling, progressive billing and labor planning. To help expedite job costing and payroll, the Labor Module will collect shop floor labor data based on employee, job and department data from the Scheduler and output it to payroll applications. The Planning Module helps with Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) by placing purchase orders and work orders and providing multiple inventory locations. Profitability and productivity are enhanced by the Job Costing Module which generates reports based on materials, labor, and job specifications. The Work Order Module helps with work order management and integrates with job planning. The Accounting Module ties everything together by integrating all accounts receivable and payable data and aligns them with processes specifically designed for custom manufacturers such as job deposits and progressive payments. The Serialized Inventory Module will help track vendors and lot numbers to manage inventory more efficiently. And, finally, the Custom Report Module will help customize forms to best fit a manufacturers needs.
